Document location/recovery

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to reach out for some last minute help. My computer sustained a nast fall totalling most of the components. However, the hard drive still remained in perfect condition. In order to save the valuable documents I had I brought the computer to my local geek squad. He threw my hard drive into their docking station and all my files/documents were still present and accesable. The desktop he used to access them was a mac. I purchased the same docking staion for my home system however now I cant seem to find the my documents folder on the drive. All other folders are available including the my pictures folder and such. For some reason I fear he may have accidently deleted the my documents folder. I have tried to search for specific documents with their name and this did not work for me. What I am asking is are these gone for good or am I not looking in the right place? Also if he did delete them is there any way to search in the recycle bin? and recover them? any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try searching all the users in C:\Documents and Settings, they will be in
C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\My Documents.
Hopefully he did not delete, you amy want to contact him as stated above to confirm he did not make any changes/deleted/moves.
