i have an old graphics card - geforce mx4000
i read the min system requirements for DOD souse , it is "DirectX 7 level graphics card"

will it work ?

I know people who play it using the MX4000, however dont expect to play it at high settings. You would be lucky to get it at low settings at a decent resolution with decent framerates.

By the way, what CPU do you have, and how much memory do you have?

i have enough memory (768 i think,1 256 + 1 512 ) and cpu is at least 1.2

I could run it with a good framerate with a Athlon XP1800+ (1.53GHz), 768Mb RAM and a GeForce 4 MX440.

I got an Intel P4 2.66 and an AGP 6600GT 128mb and I can play it on low with fps rates of 25-35 or at medium with fps rates of 18-25.

Thats really bad, you should be able to play it almost maxed out at 25-35fps.

Ya that is bad cause i can play Counterstrike source and day of defeat source on high settings and 2x AA with 20-30 FPS with my X300SE.

Announcement!

DoD: Source free test weekend coming up, 7th-10th July. Just so you who don't have Steam know, now is your second chance to test the game. Two new maps have been released recently, Colmar and Jagd.

Thought this might be useful for those who are interested in DoD: Source but don't wanna buy it without getting a chance to test it fully.

Not to mention a new style of game play (Detonation), where you have to plant the bomb or diffuse it to win (similar to CS).

Wow... also take into consideration that I have an intel P4 2.66 and I'm running DDR 233... I know... Conroe... that's when I'll get my new one :D

Also, I know you guys probably havn't heard of DDR 233 because I hadn't either until I checked my BIOS. I thought my BIOS was being retarded so I took out the sticks and the stickers on the side even say it! Weird eh?

Here is a link which has a list of different memory speeds, like DDR 233 (PC1600) and DDR 366 (PC3000). Never heard of some of those before.
