Hi,
I have 3 SATA drives that have all starting acting up at the same time which is strange I know, whilst 2 of them are only 2.5 inch laptop drives with a few bits and bobs on them, the other drive is full size Maxtor 320G drive which has hundred of pictures of my kids thoughout the years so pretty important that I get them off.
When I plug the drives in they all power up which is a good sign however the BIOS does not recognise the drives and just boots windows without them being registered.
If I plug the drive in whilst the PC is turned out then Windows shows the drive as a new hardware but there is no way to explore the drive from there.
They certainly seem knackered however is there anything that I can the photo's off as we dont have a back up (stupid I know)
Thanks
