Dodgy image thing going on PLEASE HELP

sorry i can't be more specific - if i knew what the problem is it'd probably be solved by now ;)

anyway, every time i try to play a game on my computer, the screen goes all funny and little dotty rectangles appear all over it. I can still see the game and interact with it and everything, but it's completely messed up.
I'll try to get a picture on and if you need any more details please say.

please help me.

Try to update your DX9/10 and update your video card drivers.




and did this happen before or has this been happening ever since you bought your computer?
 
First of all, as jd has said, check to see if it's overheating.

Then, go and check what kind of video card/onboard video do you have.
