doe the free adobe applications for MAC os-x require a restart?

my pc has issues restarting, so i cant install anything that requires a restart to finish or complete the installation.

downloaded adobe reader, adobe air, adobe flash player, adobe shockwave from adobe.com.

does any one know if they just install and ur done? no restart required.....

thanks, appreciate the time and help

Lol that's a pretty big issue, what is the problem with rebooting?

I'd probbably fix that rather then looking for software that doesn't require a reboot...

Yea they require a reboot. But tuffie is right ( I used to be part of his fan club), you have some bigger issues.

i made my system a dual boot. when it reboots, you get a choice of what os to use. i think thats what hangs up the pc. so when i choose mac os-x, it crashes, and wont restart, so i have to reload all the software.

but i did find out that all 4 adobe free apps do not require a restart. they install and your done.

i dont know how to fix the dual boot issue....

Ah - you have a hackintosh! :) Yeah, that can definitely act up at boot time.
The best way to install a Mac OS on a PC is by spending a little money (about 180 dollars) and do it via EFi-X usb. Of course, you have to make sure that the hardware you have is compatible or else you will run into problems.

Read a review here or...
Here is a video that explains how to do it (about 10 minutes into the video). It really seems worth the money.

If it's not worth it to you, then you'll remain limited as to what you can do with mac os if you can't install things that require a reboot. It all depends on how badly you want all the benefits of a mac. :)
