Calin Well-Known Member May 31, 2018 #2 Yes, you will be able to actually notice more FPS (with a 144hz monitor you can notice up to 144fps and so on) assuming your PC is capable of it.

a5tech New Member Jun 9, 2018 #3 Ok, but does 144hz mean it can reach 144fps and 240hz reach 240fps? Or be able to be capped to 144 or 240 fps?

You can reach any FPS on any monitor but if you go above the refresh rate it will cause screen tearing so you'd usually want to cap it to your refresh rate.
