does anybody know how far i can overclock a Intel Celeron D 336 Prescott 533MHz FSB LGA 775 64-Bit Processor w/ Execute Disable Bit? its on a stock hp pavilion a1100y model.
 
well, untill it shutdown i guess.
really, i think it will prevent you from going to far, but you can usually o/c up to .6 ghz higher with no problems at all

well, i dunno about you, but overclocking an HP might be the hardest thing to figure out when you try to overclock
 
i very much doubt your bios will allow you overclock your system. oem equipment such as yours usually has all but the most basic options locked out so you cant access or even see the options.
