Does anyone here actually use up 100+gb?

My HTPC has slightly under 2tb total and its all almost used up. One 1080p movie can be over 10gb in excellent quality (legally obtained, I just HATE discs).

Also, recording tv shows in 720p can take its toll on your hard drive as well.

On my laptop though, everything fits on my 40 gig ssd, besides some games I rarely play and tv shows I like to have with me.

I have 2TB on just one PC, and between my dual G5 desktop, my Linux desktop, my laptops and my NAS, I probably have give or take, 5 TBs of space.

Movies, music, games, data from decades ago and so forth.
 
Can't remember all the programs I had, but like my OS, Microsoft Office, Adobe Suites, Pro-E, AutoCad, and WoW took up almost all my 80GB.... I want a 160GB+ just for that extra room and speed.

MY OS + apps + games is around 500gigs almost. Hell just two of my games take up 25 to 28 gigs full installs off of steam. Good thing with Steam is I can uninstall and reinstall when I need space.

I did a tally just the other day, I've got backups of most of my physical media on my computer (Quick access) ISOs of most major OS disc, MP3s (Both ripped from CDs I own, and DRM-free MP3s I've purchased) this that, I'm at a hair under 3TB of disk space in use, on my main system alone.

230GB of which is my OS partition, of which about 170-180GB is games (Most of that Steam games) about a terabyte of TV shows and movies combined, ~500GB of backups of my physical game discs, mix of CD/DVD ISOs. Then there's an image of my OS partition, and Steam game backups (140GB is a fair amount to redownload) home movies, pictures, etc.. It adds up fast.

Oh and VMs can take a fair amount of space too. And then there's emulators and associated data (All legal provided you have the source cartridge/disc, I might add.) which depending on the console can be either insignificant or a couple GB.

My Steam folder is about 140GB by itself. I havent seen a single game install take more than 15GB.

Well I filled up a 500 gig external hardrive, so I got a 1TB this year and I already have 100 gigs on it. On my computer hard drive I used up 200 gigs.

It is mostly filled with legal music, games, movies, and ISOs.:D
 
I have 250GB attached in my PC. Its very essential to me because i have so many huge files of graphics and videos etc. So, i really do need that much space to store all those staffs.
 
im taking up 220 GB over 2 internal hard drives. 1 a 120GB and the other a 160GB and an 80GB external. Mostly a mix of everything. music,games,pictures,movies and tv shows.
 
I have like 150GB free of my 500GB drive, which will soon be filled. I'll add another 500GB when that happens. The typical stuff fills my drives. Lots of games, music, movies, etc.
 
Im using just under 2tb, mostly tv series, films and game ISO's, but i do have entire backups of both my computers, which take up over 500gb.
