does anyone like guild wars here and has tried wow and didnt like it?

imo wow is a better game then then guild wars. im not flaming gw or anything, but i just wanted to hear your guys opinions about gw and wow. like, does anyone really really like gw, and has actually tried wow, and found that wow wasnt that god and that gw was a much better game? thanks

I haven't played WoW and don't plan to(just doesn't appeal to me), but several friends have played GW gone to Wow, then came back to GW(including my IPC teacher).

Guild Wars isnt really an MMORPG. Even though thats what the game magazines, websites etc etc classify it as. Going out into the world (that is like a huge instance in WoW terms) with a party of 5 or so people is not an MMORPG. The only time you see more than 5-6 people is when you're in town looking for a group. Doesn't seem that fun to me.

Guildwars is fun,i play it AND world of warcraft quite evenly,In guildwars you can have a group ranging between 4-8,8 being later on in the game where it gets more difficult,and dont forget in WoW you can only have 5 people in a group unless its a raid group,and you cant quest in a raid

I was highly dissppionted with Guild Wars.... One of the worst $50 I'd spent.... I'd thought WoW was a much better game, if you excluded the monthly fee..... Guild Wars was supposed to be my cost effective alternative to WoW, but I really couldn't get into the game and slowly stopped playing it and ended up being a waste of money........

I played Guildwars (Necromancer ftw ).. but when my rl friends started playing WoW instead of GW,.. i Decided to gve it a shot too... and WoW is definately the better game imo..
I really found the gameplay of GW (that your alone with your party, when youre outside the city walls) pretty boring... WoW is just 1 big platform per server.. wich makes it pretty nice
