Does anyone of you know a good CFS?

you can only land the Me-163 when all fuel is used already tough... else it had a fairly big chanse on exploding if you 'bounce' :D

also the Gotha Go-229 is annoying,..due to it beeing very short. the easyest one would be the P-38 i think.. iven with 1 engine ripped off, it still fly's,.. and is stil easy to land :)
( and damn... i went off topic quite a bit :P )

TB3, that thing can take off, land and fly with just about any damage. The Go229 and jets in general are annoying becuase of throttling, if try to gun it you get a nice fire.

It's kind of on topic, IL2 is a good CFS :P. I don't like the elasticity of the planes controls but its still good.

do you use a joystick to play it? because you can make the controls quite direct in the joystick setup :P but i love glying the Go-229.. the explosive rounds tear up a bomber pretty fast :)

I do, my x36 bit the dust so I'm using a cyborg evo. Quite the change, but the planes always feel like they fly with rubber bands.

just adjust the (i think its called ) Fade of the Axes a bit.. that tightens it up a lot :)
(using a X-45 myself here :o )

I know nothing about real planes but is it same as flying an FS?
example if you are given a change to fly a real plane and your good at playing Pacific fighters can you fly the real thing?

Not likely, to do that you need a real simulator with resistant controls and all the dials and what not. You will understand what you need to do but being able to do it is another story

the controls of a real plane are a lot more.. well Jumpy is the best way of describing it.
when you have a cessna (172 you know, the planes with the wing on top of the cokpit) well, they fly quite stable, and are easy to fly ( altough its quite scary if you push the rudder too far to a side)

The planes with the wing on the bossom of the fuselage are way more scary tough.. they really like to roll over to the sides.. so it kinda feels like youre balancing on an egg the whole time. (especially with wind from the side)
never flew one of those alone tough,.. i always had an instructor with me ofc :) ( i dont have the desire to get myself killed :P )

as for acrobatics.. ive been in one of those biplanes once,.. ( as passanger ),.. and its not a good idea to had a breakfast before that... because i felt pretty sick afterwards :x

It depends what you were shooting at but generally you would wait until the target fills your gunsight then open up.

The thing is unless you are flying a big plane you don't have hydrolics to help you move the controls so the faster you go the harder it gets to steer.

That's true, pretty much anyone could fly a cessna, if you get in trouble in one of those let go of the controls and it'll pretty much take care of itself.

well... its pretty hard already to get into trouble in the first place :) but yes... if you dont do anything,.. it just goes forward.

anyhow.. anyone knows some other good CFS's?
-F4: AF
-Lock On:MC
-IL2 FB +AEP +PF
those i have currently installed..
-MS CFS3 has been suggested already

wasnt there also a game like wing commander? starwolves or something like that?

Wing Commander was an old space shooter game. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wing_Commander_(computer_game)

It was pretty good, going by the wiki there apparently are some fan projects that are being or have been released that may be decent.

i know wing commander is good... i still have 1 till 5 (if you consider Prophecy to be 5 that is :o ) installed on my current pc :) im just wondering if any descent games in that style are out :)

Starwolves looks interesting.. but i cant view everything due to pretty much beeing blocked on the pc's here,. can't view the X-WA site at all :(
do you have any other idea's for good flying games? ( No FS:X or so :) )
