Does core duo beat penitum 4?

Dual core is effectively 2 processors on 1 chip, so yes, it is better then a Pentium 4 single core (which is the normal P4's)
 
better in all aspects? and what does a double proccesor change? is it the last intel penitum double proccesor or is there anything higher? is any double automaticaly better then a single?
 
i think he mean core duo, i.e the dual core Yonah
and yes depending on the chips in the head to head the core duo will fend of the p-4's

Anyone can answer these questions, ill also add is core also better then pentium M
