Does "Do Not Track" really work?

I believe all it does is ask the website nicely not to track. LOL There are loads of ways websites can track you. HTML5 canvas fingerprinting is one, webrtc is another. There's also cookieless cookies and flash-based cookies. All can be mitigated, but you need to know how and depending on what browser you use.

I use the Google Chrome web browser with the "Do Not Track" box checked off. I don't accept 3rd party cookies & delete cookies every time I close my browser. I also run "System Ninja" every time I close my browser
