I don't completely understand the componentry inside an LCD monitor - and I'd guess it's lifespan is based on hours of use at a certain brightness would be the largest factor in lifespan of a LCD monitor.
But is there any kindof additional wear from viewing fast moving graphics vs a standard web page - or PC application use? i.e. would using a second monitor mostly for video use cause it to wear any faster than standard PC usage?
