Hi got a new pc looks ok feels ok but what do u think does it suck i dont care waht u say just say it

here it is

AMD 2800+ Processor
Vantec VA4-7245 AeroFlow 2 CPU Cooler

Elixir 512MB DDR400 Memory

Maxtor 80Gb Hard Drive

Graphics, 6 Channel Audio,
10/100 LAN(On Board)

3x PCI Slot
1x AGP 8X Slot

AOpen Combo Drive CDWR & DVD
52x32x52 CDRW & 16x DVDROM
 
Depends on how much you spent on it. If you spent like $1000 for instance I would say it sucks. I'd pay somewhere around $350-$400 if it suited all of my needs (which it doesn't) but that's not to say it doesn't suite yours. It's better than my current computer! :P
 
That's not bad, it's about $380 US. It's a good setup for a basic computing like internet browsing and documents & spreadsheets, but I'm sure I won't be seeing you on the gaming network anytime soon. ;)

Have to admit, it was good for the price.
 
What kind of AMD is that?

It looks like a decent computer, but it sucks for gaming since it has integrated video.
 
Yeah, it's not a bad system. Basically my laptop as a desktop ;) Or, we built machines identical to that in the shop, but I'm sure we charged more for them ;P
 
So much AOPEN....my eyes are burning.....

Other than that, looks pretty average as well. The 2800 is a good solid CPU. I had a Barton Core for about 8 months before I managed to fry it. Just gave me an excuse to get a 64bit 3700.

Thats a good idea, i might do that...my parents are kinda hard to convince about buying a new comp. The last computer we bought apart from my sisters laptop (which is a dell :eek: ) was 5 years ago and it was an "ATHENA COMPUTERS :eek: :eek: whatever the hell that is.
 
Yup, thats where my old parts go most of the time too. About the time they start to complain about a slow machine, I am complaining about my current rig being slow.
