Does RAM speed matter?

Is there a noticeable difference in DDR2 800 and DDR2 1066 RAM clocked at the same timings? How do I know what timing I am running at?

You won't see a huge performance difference between 800 and 1066. You can see what you are running at in the BIOS, or using a program like Everest or CPU-Z.

Just used CPU-Z and its showing different timings for my 2x1GB and 1x2GB sticks. If I change the timings to be the same, will this increase performance in benchmarks?

No, unless you're benchmarking. You'll see absolutely no gains in any real-life applications.
Slight OC got my experience to 5.9 :). How are all my timings the same? Am I looking at the right data or is CPU-Z being stupid?

THe SPD tab just shows what the standard voltage and timming of each stick running at that speed. If you click the Memory Tab, that shows what all the sticks are running at together.

Ah ok, thanks a lot :). My DRAM frequency when I have all 3 of my sticks in is 300MHZ, isnt it supposed to be 400?

They should be at 400 with 555-18 default/ one of the sticks has higher timming 555-18 vs. two at 555-16 at 400mhz. I would try 1.9V at 400mhz with timming set at 555-18. If its stable you could try setting them to a lower timming and maybe play with the voltage alittle.

Yea ill try that, Im not sure why it went down to 300MHZ but w/e. I cant find where to change the MHZ, my mobo is displaying my RAM as DDR 667. Default voltage was at 1.925.
