johnb35 Administrator Staff member Oct 9, 2010 #2 Your motherboard only supports DDR2 memory, DDR3 wouldn't even fit as they are notched differently.

FuryRosewood Active Member Oct 9, 2010 #4 to a point yes...but from a usability standpoint, as long as its running in dual channel and your not paging, i honestly cant feel a difference between ddr and ddr2 memory imho i did feel a diff going from a ide hdd to a sata drive tho.
