Does this support ATI 4870 Crossfire?

It SAYS 2PCI-E16 in the name AND crossfire, but in one review they said it didn't supports 16-16 crossfire, am i getting confused in some way?

It has two pci express 16 slots but one runs in 16x and one in 8x so therefore crossfire would run in 8x.
So yeah it can handle crossfire but not at 16x like some boards (those with x16,x16 slots).

How much of a performance drop would this mean? Also could you point me to a 16-16 board on NCIX? Thanks

Im kinda already over my budget, but i can make cuts, so how much of an increase minimum would i be looking at?

If you want full x16 look for something with the x38 or x48 (ncix has the x48)

All you need to do is seat the north bridge heatsink yourself, because its tall, they can't ship it already installed..

The DFI board is great im am running a dfi but not the x38 im using the P35. So far the board is great no problems with it.
