Does this USB cable provide 5V output?

Hi,
I have a mobile phone which is charged by a wall-wart (mains adapter plug type thing) with a micro-USB connector coming off it.
I am worried about loosing it, so purchased the following cable...

...though if i plug the USB end into my laptop USB port, then will the micro-USB end give 5V for my mobile phone?

The cable provides as much power as the power source provides.

As per above a cable itself does not provide voltage.

But the USB standard is 5v.
