Does voltage matter?

Is it possible to buy a video card (nVIDIA GTS8800) and a power supply (110-220V) from the U.S. and use them in a computer overseas (220V)? I mean I'm pretty sure the power supply will be Ok, but what about the card running on 220 instead of 110, would it matter?

The power supply will output the same amount, no matter what. As long as you have the power supply set to 220, it'll be fine.
