Does windows blinds effect preformance?

I just got the full versions of windows blinds, cursor XP and icon packager, i would like to know if these will signifiigantly effect my preformance.
my specs are:
Ati x1400
80 gig 7200rpm HD
1 gig of duel channel ram
intel core duo at 1.66ghz

And to answer your question-with your comp, probably not.

Yes it will. Even if you are running with those specs you will notice a difference. They all run on startup and require it to load up the effects.

I have WindowBlinds and i dont realy notice much diffrence at startup.

If you don't have too much stuff running in the background then it should not be noticeable. If you use high CPU programs like video editing or game then you may notice more of a change.

I used to run it on my old Thunderbird 1.4GHz. I couldn't tell a huge lag, but it did give me some. Not enough to quit using it, though. The main reason I stopped was because the buttons and all I really liked gave me problems(wouldn't click) within some programs...

But yeah, anything running in the background could cause some lags
