I was selling my ps2's on ebay when i get this in my mail box. From 2 different screen names and i belive their from the same person trying to scam me here read this.

This is from leepotters:
Am a barrister lawyer, i live in u.s.a west kelso street #19ingle wood c.a, i will like to buy your item as a special gift package for my grandson who is on training in united state embassy in africa (nigeria),whose birthday is coming up, so i need to get it for him as a matter of urgency, since i have been willing to surprise him wth this particular item, ,So I will like to know what you are asking for this item, I will be paying through postal money order, since it is faster and get's approved in a maximum period of hours.so i will want you to advise the name and physical address where the payment will be sent to and a valid email address for confirmation transfer from postal order. But before then,I'll like to know how new this item is and how soon can it be ready for shipment after the payment have been made. thanks. expecting your reply. Can i offer you $200 for this item....... pls can you handle this for me personally?? reply expected."""

And this is from Sun_let12 which i suspect is the same person from leepotters:

"""""Am interested in buying this item to my store 2uint in africa,My mode of
payment is {BIDPAY}.More Over,i would like to know the final asking
price for the sales of this item if you re willingly to sell this item to
me,i would like to know if you can ship out the items internationally
or i can arrange for shipment myself .if you agree to this, kindly end
the auction and send your details for payment full name, contact
address, city, state, zip code, country, phone number including shipping cost to my
store in africa via Fedex express/Dhl express,we will be expecting your
reply as expected.Regards""""""""

What do you think?

Yes ts a scam. They send you a FAKE money order, you cash it, and send the item, then you get a call from the bank saying its faake and it gets deducted from YOUR account, and you have to pay for it.

Yep, definatley a scam, i had an email almost exactly the same, just delete it (or even better reply with a whole bunch of viruses attached) :)

if something sounds to go to be true then it is a scam. THere are a lot of people that do a lot of scams. here is one taht everyone need to be on the look out for

Please be careful when you use this program messenger
is having problems about not protecting everyone that
uses there system for e-mailing and chatting... I
should know another friend of mine was just recently
SCAMMED by someone saying that she was a benificiary
to an estate over in Africa... When actually it is
lead to believe by our government these people are
praying on american civilians trying to get free money
in order to keep their lives of crime and destruction
going... Please help each other and stand by me by
telling our congressmen and women to do their jobs and
to have our president stand and take better action of
protecting us all you, me and our families and future
from these people that hate us because we come from a
country that believes that everyone should be free and
we have free speech... These people are using
messenger as well as other software programs to
destroy us and our country they won't stop at nothing
to get what is asked of them done...~! So let's all
stand together and cut them off from praying on
innocent victims such as ourselves and protect our
rights, our country & our families...
Sincerely,
An American That Cares About Protecting Each and
Everyone of us..~!
