yesterday i bought a wireless G desktop pci card from belkin, so i can connect to my network without wires, but as soon as i install it Vista takes double amount of time to boot, i dont mean the desktop part i mean when the little bar goes across the screen, it used to do that in 4-5 completions, now after installing the pci card it takes 12-15 completions before continuing to boot, i did a system restore took pci card out and back to 4-5 pci card in and back to 12-15 again , i really cant see how it can slow boot time by over 100% !!!???

Have you tried disabling stuff under msconfig?? and seen if that has helped???

yes i have very basic stuff on msconfig to startup. Im starting to think just get a wireless usb adapter see if thats better, because inever really used much pci stuff before and if it does that then aint worth it unless of course theres a solution?

look for either older or newer drivers (newer if you used the ones from the CD that came with it).
Sometimes just using different drivers can fix stuff.

ive used the drivers on the cd, and also the latest from the belkin website still with no luck, i have been ploughing through google also and cant find anything not even slightly related to this problem :(
