Domain to Workgroup

Hello ALL

Got a tricky little sitch for you guys to help me solve.
At the moment i have a work computer attached to a domain. I hurriedly added it to the domain and while the machine was going through its automatic shutdown process, a dialogue box jumped up, but i didnt get a fleeting chance to read it.

So now i have a useless laptop, it just sticks on a login prompt box and doesnt recognise any passwords or usernames.

What do i do now, ive never been that stupid to get myself into this mess.

I really don't understand where is the problem. can you elaborate more ?
i mean doesn't the laptop has local accounts ? Administrator or whatever that can be used ?
are you adding the laptop to the domain ?
