Don't touch the grease

I accidently touched the grease on the new cooling fan I bought, and left a little finger print. Is it safe to assume that it will still be fine to put it on without buying new grease?

It'll be ok, but ideally you want a clean surface.

Yeah

That depens on how much you applied. If you only see the fingerprint and not the base, then why not? However, it should be fine if you will not.

Yeah, that wouldnt hurt. You want to have the grease evenly spread out with no air bubbles. You could even use something like a cue tip, or just use your finger to spread out evenly.

not a good idea to do this......Q-tips would leave lint, just check the TC and make sure no foreign object is sticking to it
