just a quick question- is a socket 775 the same as a LGA775 mobo??? i feel stupid for askin cause i am like 99% sure they are the same but i just need to make sure,

don't know off the top of my head, look up the board on newegg.com just to make sure

well thats where im buyin it from, newegg lists the boards as lga775 and when i looked up the processor im getting on tigerdirect (because it's not on newegg yet) it calls for socket 775 so who knows

should say what socket type the board is under the detailed information

yes socket 775 is the same thing as LGA775 which is also known as Socket T
