Double Administrator folders in Documents and settings ... Windows xp

Hi,
A while back I had problems with my OS, so I decided to re-install Windows xp. (I believe I chose to install it in the same partition.) Now I have 5 folders in Documents and Settings. They are: Administrator, Administrator.This-B7C941EDC, All Users, All Users.Windows.0, and Default User. Are all of these necessary?

P.S. Windows.0 is my windows folder.
 
You didn't format the partition, so everything was just duplicated.

I'd reinstall again but this time format the partition. Be sure to back up any files you want to save.
 
As above, I'd nuke it from orbit with a fresh install and wipe the disk when you're installing the OS.

Also, it'd be a good idea to upgrade off of XP.
