Hi all

Anyone know where I can get a free (preferably easy to use) download counter from? I've searched the internet but can't find a free one anywhere. It seems that they're a little bit more complicated than hit counters, so there's usually a cost associated with them.

Thanks for the replies. I will look closely at both options.

Just had a quick look at statcounter.com. Does it actually count the number of times a file has been downloaded by a user - it appears to just offer hit counts, though they are very detailed?

oh my mistake - statcounter is just a regular html page counter which is free. it has a google map for the visitors to your site as well :)

although if you put the html in a dl link which redirects directly to the dl then it would work.
