download freezes...

when i try downloading some programs or files, jus normal downloading, it will freeze... wat could be the cause

edit: ok i jus tried my laptop, it doesnt freeze and it downloads WAY faster than my pc... wats wrong wit it... and i jus reformatted also..

if u have norton it will detect trojans.

i have KAV how come it doesnt detect it?
and i think its slowing down my download speed also, on my laptop im gettin 1mb/sec on dis pc only 100kb/s

Go to House Call and allow it to plug in the necessary items and run the scan. This is the best trojan scanner that I have found, way better than Norton. Also, try out Anti-Vir, it's free to download and if a good real-time protection program from trojans.
