I would like to know where to download a genuine English version of Windows 7 Professional? I already have the COA sticker so I just need the software.

If someone knows please let me know as it's hard to sift through all the non genuine software.

I got it off another computer that was going out to the trash. I just need to download the software. Regardless I would still need a coa sticker (Which I have) if I were to load a genuine version of it.
 
That is not legal and not supported by these forums. All OEM licenses that a system's builder bundles with a new computer is tied to that computer indefinitely.

Yes it is legal. There is a loop hole in that. As long as the coa is inside the computer that it is installed on it is.

You can go to any computer tech store and ask them to burn you a copy of Windows and tell them that you have the coa sticker and they will burn you a copy.

Look, I am not a lawyer, but if you read the fine print of the EULA of any OEM OS put out by Microsoft they all say what I just mentioned. Trust me, Microsoft has many more lawyers than you or I and they really want to protect their product from theft.

That's a waste. If a computer is going to the trash you should be able to use it again. I have done that with windows xp. Buy a old tower that is going to the trash with the coa on it and transfer it to the the new computer and then activate it. Sometimes I have to call Microsoft because it's been used to many times but then I'm able to use it.

Just stop arguing with us. We, plain an simple, can't talk about that on here. If you really want to know, there's a powerful search engine on the internet that we all know about that will give you the answers--you just have to search passively instead of actively!
 
bottom line its illegal and nobody here is going to help you make a fraudulent DVD of any operating system.

Stop being so cheap and just buy the DVD!

If you still don't like the answers here, ask Microsoft and see what they tell you!

Then...why are you posting here and not driving to your local tech store?
 
That sucks about your ACL man, injuries like that are horrible. However, when Dell, HP or anyone else puts that sticker on their PC for the license of Windows, they are buying and bundling OEM versions with their product, which is never transferrable to any other product, ever period.

You can't just rip a sticker off and think it is legit. That is the same thing as me ripping off registered tags on your car, and putting the date sticker on my car. Sure that is not traceable but it is still illegal.
