downloading speed

This my be a noob question but is there anyway to download things from internet faster. I'm asking because it takes like 2-3 hours at like 30 some kbps to download a game demo from downloads.com. Now could it b the site that I am downloading from. Now i do use wireless in my room and i know that is prob the problem but i was just checking with you guys, thanks.

try www.gh3d.com for games demos - u can choose from a list of servers - mostly the fastest ones are the ones closest to where u are

There are severl things that will effect your speed.


Your internet speed
Your wireless connection speed(stable, not going from 11 to .5 to 11 to .5mbps)
The server speed.


What kind of interenet connection do you have, and how fast is it rated?


What kind of wireless are you currently using?
