I have been experiencing a problem for a long time when downloading large files, things like games on steam for example. My speed will climb to about 350k a second, and then a few minutes later will drop completely and stay at 0k for a few seconds before going back up to 350k. I am using a 3mb DSL connection, connected directly to the modem. Any thoughts on what may be causing this?
