Downloads never complete

I've been having issues lately with my internet. I can never seem to complete downloading huge files like 50mb onwards. For expample, If I download a 80mb file using Firefox, it'll say that it's finishing up the download when it actually isn't done(30mb). Same goes for iTunes, I can't update my iPod Touch's firmware which is 220mb. At around 80mb it gives me error code 9006, usually refers to disconnected network but I don't get disconnected or anything like that.

Help please.
 
Make sure that you only have one network "adapter" installed. Having two installed when you only have one physical adapter causes all sorts of crazy problems (and yes, it has happened plenty of times.).
