WHy is this modzilla wont let me download certain files its used to now it doen't. for example it wont let me open or save bit torrents why is this?

doesnt right click and save link as work? what are u talking about specifically?

if you are opening torrents, off illegal sites, then obviously some wont work when the file is down etc..

this would not be a problem with mozilla unless you CAN download the file using internet explorer.

When u click on the link then a downloads manger or not that the one before it where they ask you what to do with the file like open it... or save to disk well where it says ok and cancel the ok is shadowed out and you cant click on it... WTH!!!!!
But i can still right click and save link as then open it in my bittorent client buts that like 5 mroe extra steps..

huh??

go to tools options and configure from there.

i normally right click and save to a folder on the desktop, then open with the appropriate program.

You can download. Also using the download manager for firefox isnt that great, as you cant do segmented downloading which increases the speed lots for larger files. i also find it buggy, sometimes when you close the manager and try to resume it doesnt work so you have to restart the dl.

i would take a screen shot but the box that says what would you like to do with the file save it or open it. it doent maximize. Well u cant push the damn ok button cause its like locked...

Forget that i said that i jsut cant push the ok button... I even tried reinstalling mozilla but since it still keeps all the settings and bookmarks and stuff i guess that why it didint go away

i cant see how u cant press okay without you posting a screenshot. is it just a dialogue box with okay greyed out or are there any other options? Maybe you have to select the right directory, eg. you cant save to the folder my computer.
