you're paying for bits, you get bytes at least i am pretty sure. do you know for sure if you are paying for 7 megabytes or 7 megabits?

you know actually it might not be that since you are getting a little under twice the speed you should be getting...

I would really like to get fiber optic, but it isn't standard yet, thus quite expensive. American companies are so... greedy.

But fiber optic is probably "not available in your area."

It depends on how far away from the terminal you are and line quality.

I pay for 8MB and only get 2 or 4 at most...
