Am looking for company that sells high performance computers for animation and video. Am currently looking at Alienware and Safeharbor computers. Any suggestions. Need machine that will not miss a beat when running graphics, interactive applications, etc. Would appreciate any suggestions. Traditional desktop computers found in retail stores have not been fast enough.

Thanks.

DON'T buy any prebuilt machine, they are a waste of money. If you are interested in building your own, we'd all be glad to help you get the right parts.

I thought Alienware were pretty neat looking, but they are stealing money and that's what they were doing. Alienware can trick you mind, but you have to watch and focusing carefully. I rather to say to build on your own and its fun doing it. Dell XPS might be really cool, but not sure about it yet...

Dont go with the Dell XPS, they are overpriced to.

I agree on building your own, but why not try VoodooPC or Falcon Northeast-

off topic- I Lived in Huston for 2 years, 99-10, lived in Nantucket drive and went to school at Auty international.

Manktelow.

voodoo and falcon are just as expensive as Dell's XPS's and alienwares. build yourself. You'll get lots more bang for your buck. speaking of which, do you have a budget?
