drive bays

I have an HP Pavillion about 5 yrs old. I use it for web, music, movies, and photoshop,very lite gaming very basic system. I'm looking to do my own build on a new system.

I know the external 5.25" bays are for dvd,cd,card readers/usb.

What would I do with the 3.25" internal bays wich I see alot of cases come tith 3 to 5 of those.

Unless you can find something else you need to put in them.

The externals though are for fan controllers, floppies, etc.

JUst havent seen inside any system but my own. with 5 bays inside the ones ive been researching I thought that many hard drives was a little much, guess not.

They are good for servers. Have 5 1TB hard drives - 5TB in total!
