drive inside a drive...

I have a partitioned 40GB hard drive. It's split up into two hard drives. The smallest of the two has a folder on it called "drive." THe icon is that of a hard drive. Inside, is all the files on that drive, just like there were before I click on it. Basically, H:\ shows the same thing as H:\drive\, or even H:\drive\drive\drive\drive\....etc., you get the point. If I delete anything in H:\drive\ or further into the mess of files, it gets deleted on H:\. How do I get rid of this annoying folder? It is screwing up my searches and it is just generally annoying.

Thanks for any help,

Peter

1 Could it be you've mapped the small drive to itself and assigned it the letter H:?2
2 What OS are you running?
