driver and monitor problem

when i install the ati 4.9 catalyst or those newer omega drivers(xp version for my x800 pro) i get this minor screen shaking. i mean very small but it is there. any thoughts?

When you update your drivers for video cards.....this is what happens, sometimes it can even black out your screen

veiwsonic a90f+ and the the shake is consistant, but as i said very small. from a distance you cant even tell.
