Driver devices needed

Hello everybody,
I've just received a laptop computer from a relative, and he told me that I&ll have to install these following devices :
- Multimedia audio controller
- PCI Simple communication controller

However, I do not know how to do so...Can somebody help me? Thanks in advance.

Has he given you driver CD's for the mobo because if not you will need to locate it as they have the correct drivers.

Nope, he hasn't

Ok well what I can suggest is that when you turn on the computer it should tell you that it has found some new hardware.

Use the Wizard that comes up but tell it to look on Windows Updates as well, and just follow the wizard through and the drivers may or may not be found.

As well as doing that get in contact with your relative and ask him if he has the support CD.
