Hey, i got a under water camera and i am trying to test it so i took a few photos and connected it to my PC . i searched for a driver and it didnt find one so i downloaded the one from the website but it still doesent find it.
please help

OK ill say exactly what i see.
i plug in the usb thing from the camera
on the bottom right corner of the screen a little bubble comes up saying FOUND NEW HARDWARE USB 1.1
Then the wizard thing comes up and says "if your hardware came with a disk please insert now. [mine didnt come with disk]
than it has options of installing hardware automatically OR install to specific location.
If i pick installing hardware automatically it searches but fails to find a appropriate software.
if i pick install from a list or specific location it still cant find the driver

i know i might be a bit of a hassle specially since i don't know much about computers, but this is quite important.
thanks

Go into device manager, find the offending hardware (should be marked with a yellow exclamation mark) Right click on it, select update driver and browse for where you put the driver (to make it simple you might want to put it on the desktop)

That should do it. If you need more help let us know

OK,
i am a idiot,
it turns out i installed setup and their was the driver download hidden somewhere else BUT when i click to install that theirs a message saying warning this has not past Microsoft logo testing downloading this may impair the correct operations of your system[along the lines of that anyway].
should i trust it after all it was from the official site
is their any other driver that would work with it?
i could upload picture of what i see but i dont know how to?

Probably the driver isn't WHQL which means nothing. just click install anyway. That should have it working! (may need to restart system)
