Driver Updates

Alright i dont kno a whole lot about computers. I just finished putting on together and now when im playing BF2142 it dosnt load all the way and then i either have to ctrl+alt+del out of it or even restart my computer. Some people have suggested that i need to update my drivers. Is there a website that i can check my drivers and update them or do i have to go one by on and find them???

Every part of your computer will have a need for some kind of driver. You will have to go to the website of each manufacture for the parts you used to find the drivers.

If you list what parts you used we could help you. But with you giving us no information, there is no way we can help you.
 
alright well i ran one of those driver update checker things and the only things it found( if those actually work ) was Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet Controller,
Soundmax Integrated Digital HD Audio,Realtek RTL8187 Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps USB 2.0 Network Adapter, JMicron JMB36X Controller, Plug and Play Monitor. Ummm ya.. but my mobo is Asus P5K-E, i got 2 gigs corsair ram, 320gig wd hd, 500 antec psu, and if im missing anything just let me kno
 
What you need to do is go to the website of each manufacture, do a search for drivers for the item you need to update, then download the drivers and install them.

What you listed really did not give all the information we would need to help you.

Sometimes we need to know what version of a piece of hardware you have, like v1.1 or 1.2 (just examples)

Plug n play monitor means nothing, you need to list what model number and make of monitor you have. If your monitor came with a cd, then run it.

Did you load the drivers on the cd that came with your motherboard? If not then do so. Also go to the website for your motherboard (asus) and look for the latest drivers.

alright well im kinda confused cuz i dont kno what to do. do i save it or open it??? and after i do one of those how do i update it? cuz i think i already saved them but idk
