I am still having issues with sound in XP3 on "audio device on audio definition bus". At the moment it is disabled because i am sick of the "found new hardware" See previous posts

I have tried to download drivers from severasl sites including Realtek (which is so slow it is a joke, & i emailed them and told them that!)

Here are some of the devices from www.Belarc.com

ATI Function Driver for High Definition Audio - ATI AA01
Audio Device on High Definition Audio Bus
VideoMate TV SAA7130, Capture Device
NVIDIA Network Bus Enumerator

Any ideas ?

Have you tried unplugging your external hard drives and disabling your card reader, and then trying to install the drivers?

Your humour (attempted) is hilarious !! You should become an Aussie !!

Anyway when i installed XP there were no external drives plugged in, so it should have just loaded everything up as normal.

Once XP had installed i loaded all drivers on from the original CD but the sound card drivers refuse to accept. The realtek site is a joke. It is slow and - thats the fast site and when i try to download drivers it spits an error message out at me. I emailed Realtek but am not holding my breath waiting for a reply !
