How exactly does computer know which device is connected to it?
Where are device drivers installed in computers?

Ex: when a plug a digicam, the Comp recognizes it and suitably installs required driver. How will it recognise the type of device?

In a simple way, not entirely accurate. Your OS speaks one language, your devices speak another one. The driver is the translator. Tells the OS what the device is/what it can do and what it cant.
