okay, I am looking for a driver to fill the last vacant spot in the device manager.

got the hardware IDs here

I'm working on it, but I have a feeling its the asm1062 serial ata controller. What motherboard is this? The site I use doesn't list that vendor ID.

Its an ASrock Z77 Extreme 4. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

and I think I already installed the Sata driver. If not, is it really needed if I am running ATA mode?

Download the file I linked you to. I'm positive its the asmedia sata 3 controller.

If that doesn't work, just copy the top hardware ID and paste it into Google.

EDIT: Yeah, I got the same thing John got. That should be it.
