Drives Not Working (Pictures Included)

Hi I just tried accessing my CD-RW drive, and my Virtual CD Drive and it does not work all of a sudden. The CD Drive icons are not even showing up on my computer. I went to Device Manager and this is what is displayed:




what is wrong?? CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT? It was working a few days ago.
I try putting in CDs and the green light just blinks but it does not respond!
the CD-RW drive is NEW too!!

Yes I do. Alcohol 120%, not up to date version. The virtual drive and the reaL CD Drive doesn't work. I just uninstalled it and same problem.

I had the exact same problem a few days ago. Check the wiring; my drives were disconnected and when I connected them back, the icons appeared in My Computer.
 
But It can't just go wrong one day! Its been working for about 3 weeks now! I went to Device Manager to uninstall it. after i uninstalled i rebooted and it recognized the cd drive but its not on my computer and it does not respond. so its not the wiring.
 
maybe u could download Dameon tools for now (and ur "important school thing")...its free too..

*EDIT* or are u saying that u need the real CD drive to work?
 
those drives look like two virtual drives. a normal drive says like sony or samsung this says combo or whatever. how many cd drives do you have in your computer?
 
Reinstall the drivers. If you know the brand and model of each drive, go to the maker's website and download and install the drivers, then uninstall the drives from Device Manager and reboot.
