dropping phone on table

this will probably seem a stupid question but i lended my friend my nokia lumia 925 to have a look and when she put it down on the table she dropped it on the hard plastic table, not by much id say an half an inch to inch, would this do any damage to the internals of the phone?
 
Say you are good. Normally from a longer distance like the floor will break the glass. Your good. Highly suggest looking for a rubber boot made by Otter. Adds a lot more protection. My grandkids dropped on the cement and no damage done. works for me.
Im using a Samsung Galaxy III.
 
Besides the screen there is basically nothing in a phone that is sensitive to impact. If there is no visible damage on the outside then you're good.
 
it was the back of the phone and not the front glass, just asking as its a new phone and i get abit like this with new stuff i buy

I'd personally start the warranty papers now.. thats a pretty severe blow that your phone took from that height..
