ds3 V ds4

Hey,
I've had some troubles with my ga-945pl-s3 mobo, i've gone through 2 of them in the space on 6 months. One's been replaced, and the other one again can be replaced but, i'm thinking of upgrading to a ga-965p-ds3 or ds4, as I can pick them up for a good price (IMHO). But there is about a $40-50 AUD price difference between the ds3 and the ds4. What are the major differences, and would it be worth the extra money to go with a ds4?

The DS4 has 2 PCI-E sockets for Crossfire, a heatpipe cooling the North & Southbridge chips, and on-board firewire.

So, can it also do SLI? Meh, I don't need an extra pci-e slot although the heatpipe sounds good. I might just stick to a ds3 and save the money. Besides with that money i can buy some fans and maybe a better heatsink if need be.

No, not SLi. Just Crossfire.
