DSL Router

If I were you, I would get a separate modem and router. I would highly recommend getting a router with antennae, you'll get better signal quality if you are far from the router.

No that one won't work with Dsl alone, you will need to get a separate modem.

Yes, you go from wall jack to dsl modem, ethernet cable from modem to wan connection on router and then router to pc's.

I'm having a hard time finding a modem for a DSL connection. Everything seems to be a modem + router combo these days. The modems I do find all use Ethernet rather than phone line. Anyone have DSL out there that could recommend something?

Well, took me a while to find it, but this is pretty much the same modem I use now.

I wouldn't recommend it though, I still lose internet every now and then and its only a couple months old.

This is my old modem, http://www.amazon.com/SIEMENS-Speed...f=sr_1_39?ie=UTF8&s=pc&qid=1252964438&sr=1-39 worked nicely for me, for maybe 3 or 4 years till it started dropping signal, so I'd definitely recommend that modem.

If you want to look on your own, I found it hard to find any DSL modems other than on amazon. Look for ADSL on the modem when your looking and as everyone else said don't do combined modem and routers whenever possible.
