Hey everybody. My Verizon DSL service is expiring soon so I need another service to go with. Can anybody recommend DSL services that are $30 and under a month?

Well if you have a 768kbs dsl connection with verizon I would recommend upgrading to the 3mbps for only 29.99

I think he wants a service name...company...that serves in Indiana..

Yea I said verizon and since he already has it thats why i used "upgrade". It only depends on wheather he has the 3mbps connection already. Although that yahoo looks good for 6mbps

that 6mbps for 29.95 is only for a year but I could just switch again after that.
After your year is up you can just agree to another year and the price will remain the same...price VS speed AT&T is killing the competion and a year from now you can probably expect 10 or 15mb dsl for $15 or $20 a month, their goal is to crush cable and withen the next 5 years they plan to have fiber optics run right up to your house and are talking speeds of 100mb and you will be able to get TV through your phone line as well as video phone, these are all the things AT&T are working on, I have an inside source my brother inlaw works for them :D

Other companies like verizon wont be able to compete because in order to achieve the same speeds they will have to use AT&T's fiber optic lines so they will have to pay a rental fee to do this and that cost will get passed on to the customer. I can see it going to court now saying AT&T is monoplizing the DSL service but in my opinion they have the right to do it because they own the phone lines so if Verizon dont like it they can lay new phone lines all over America...lol!

I dont know about you, but I would perfer 5mbps for 20$ a month rather then 6mbps for 30$. Cox cable :)
Just wait the prices are comming down, just wait a year from now I will have something like 10 or 15mb for the same price. From what I hear they are getting ready to ramp up the speed bigtime to take cable customers.
