Dual-boot question...

I have an Aspre one with 2 Operating systems installed: Windows XP Home and Windows 7 Beta. Now, I had changed the Boot menu timing to 0 seconds and set the default OS to Windows 7. However, now I have BSOD issues and Windows does not start. How do I boot from XP ??

I can't go to safe mode as I get the Windows Error Recovery screen on power on. The only way I think is editing the BSD using a bootable media.

Any apps you are aware of ?

Secondly, The BSOD says "Run CHKDSK". How do I run it ??
 
Can you boot to a windows XP install cd and go into the recovery console? You can do checkdisk there.

i had that same problem 5 mins ago.... the load bar at the bottom appears, and then you get the BSOD right?...

what had happend was that i was trying to install the operating system on a USB hardrive, and i guess it want fast enough to respond, and it crashed... so then i tried installing the OS in my main hardrive, and it worked , no BSOD....


weird... that sucks dood.
